Ruthin Castle Hotel Wedding, North Wales - Rebecca & Robert

When it comes to fairy tale weddings, few venues can match the enchanting charm of Ruthin Castle. Nestled in the heart of Denbighshire, Wales, this historic fortress-turned-hotel provides a stunning backdrop for couples seeking a truly magical wedding day.

Standing proudly amidst lush greenery, Ruthin Castle sets the scene for a wedding straight out of a storybook. From the moment you enter the castle gates, a tranquil and romantic atmosphere envelopes you. The meticulously manicured gardens, the grandeur of the stone walls, and the towers reaching for the sky all create an ambiance that is nothing short of breathtaking.

I love Ruthin Castle Hotel and so when Rebecca (Bex) and Robert reached out to me about photographing their wedding day there, I was instantly excited at the prospect of shooting there again. As I do with all perspective clients, once I started talking to Ben & Rob and finding out a bit more about their personalities, it became very clear very quickly that Ruthin Castle was the perfect venue for them.

The great thing about Ruthin Castle from a wedding photography perspective is there are so many different areas both internally and externally that allow for some stunning shots to be taken, and if you’re lucky, you might also get the peacocks to play ball and appear in one or two of your photographs!

I had an amazing day with Ben & Rob and their lovely friends and family and came away with some lovey shots for them, memories that will last a lifetime!
